The flight to St. Vincent or Bequia is approximately 40 minutes from Barbados, 30 minutes from Grenada, 45 minutes from Martinique, 20 minutes from St. Lucia and 2 hours 20 minutes from Puerto Rico. You can also get to Bequia from St. Vincent (Kingstown dock) on a ferry which takes one hour.
Some facts
The local currency in St. Vincent & the Grenadines is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar ($1USD = $2.67EC approx). When leaving the islands, you will be required to pay a departure tax of $40EC. If you are driving, you need to obtain a temporary driving licence costing $75EC which can be purchased at the police station or Licensing Authority in Kingstown or at the Revenue Office in Port Elizabeth, Bequia.

When you arrive in St . Vincent (E.T. Joshua airport, Arnos Vale) you will be asked at customs for the address where you will be staying which is 'North Union'. We can meet you at the airport or if you prefer, you can hire a car or get a taxi.
If you turn left out of the airport and follow the main road this will take you to Kingstown. If you turn right out of the airport and follow the main road towards the East coast, North Union is situated between Biabou and Colonaire.

Directions to Sea Star Villa, Bequia
If you are staying in Bequia, you can get a taxi from the airport or if you have come from St. Vincent on the ferry, you will get off at Port Elizabeth. There are two ferries that sail frequently between St. Vincent and Bequia, the Admiral and the Bequia Express. Sailing times are as follows:
Bequia to St. Vincent
Mon-Fri - 6.30am, 7.30am, 9.30am, 1pm, 2pm, 4.30pm, 5pm
Sat - 6.30am, 9.30am, 10.15am, 4.30pm, 5pm

St. Vincent to Bequia

Sailing time from jetty to jetty is one hour (distance 9 miles). One-way fare $15 EC per person or $25 EC per person same day return. $100 EC for a car & driver return. Sailing times are subject to change at short notice.
Sea Star Villa is located 10 minutes away in Friendship Bay. Being such a small island, 18 sq. km (7 sq. miles), everything is just a short trip away, all the local bars, restaurants and shops are located in the main town of Port Elizabeth.
